Lagos Man Arrested For Money Ritual

This man was accused of engaging in money ritual has been handed over to the police by residents of Iresi Street, in the Orile Agege area of Lagos State.

A suspect man, who was identified only by his name Mohammed, He was alleged to have moved around the area of agege on Saturday, who pretending to be mentally challenged at the point.

The PUNCH Metro learnt that a woman called, Mrs. Olawumi Alani, who sells confectionery, alerted her neighbour, Mrs. Grace Ogedengbe, to his presence at the moment.

We gathered an information that Mohammed initially pretended he understood only Hausa and declined response when Alani requested to know who he was looking for.

It was correspondent learnt that he later confided in Ogedengbe, who also speaks same Hausa Language, that he needed human parts and was directed to the area by a friend of him.

We get to know that he was reportedly chased away by those women.

But on Sunday, Muhhamed appeared again he was challenged by some youths who recovered some charms from him and handed him over to the nearest police station.

Report from Mr. Alani, “We shase him out when he comes around on Saturday, looking inside houses here. The guy later came to buy a sachet of pure water. I called my neighbour, Mama Benita Ogedengbe, that the man was just pretending to be a mad. To made it Shortly, he approached me and spoke in Hausa Language.

I  actually called my neighbor  Mama Benita, who realy understands Hausa language to speak with the language with him. He asked her, he was looking for a place in our area, where he could get human parts. We shouted on him to leave or else he would be lynched.

After i came back from my church service that same Sunday, He was still hanging around the street. With a brown clothes, which is different from what he wore on Saturday when he came to our side. This made me to be more suspicious and alerted some boys in the area. At that moment, he said in English he would implicate me if he was arrested, Some Charms and a ring were recovered from him before he was taken to the police station.

Mama Benita “Ogedengbe reveal she was totally astounded when Mohammed told her about his mission that he need human parts and blood in the area.

Ogedengbe said, Muhhamed said to her that he was directed here by a friend. This made me scared when he explained that it was blood of a human that he actually needed and that he wanted to use it for money ritual. Actually we didn’t  take him serious until he came back on Sunday which is the next day.
