The King of Fuji, King Waskiu Ayinde
promised his fans that he would not rest
on his oars.
The Osogbo, Osun State based fuji
artiste, Akeem Okiki, has become N750, 000 richer for winning the 2015 edition
of Goldberg Fuji to Bam music contest.
The Okiki was crowned at the Trans
Amusement Park, In Ibadan, where the grand finale of the competition.
It was a gathering of top fuji singers
that included K1 De Ultimate and Abass Obesere, both of who performed to pull the
crowd attracted to the park held.
During the fiesta organised by
Nigerian Breweries Plc had in attendance Yoruba actors, who are listed in the
likes of Odunlade Adekola, who was the
compere, Sanyeri, who was a judge, Bolaji Amusan Mr. Latin and Adekola Tijani
popularly known as Kamilu Kompolo also held in.
We also have two other young fuji
acts, Saheed Ishola, who was hail
from Ota, Ogun State and Ibadan based act Opeyemi
Akanbi, who also got N350,000 and N250,000 for emerging second and third
position.
The Nigerian Breweries Plc event
that also featured Yoruba poetry EWI rendition,
a tribute to Goldberg Beer, the Public Affairs Adviser, Nigerian Breweries Plc,
Kufre Ekanem, reveal, Goldberg has delivered on its promises of staging the
biggest fuji concerts you can everly think of in the industry.
It’s just an amazing night of pure
and nothing but Exclusive and unlimited Faaji, with massive crowd.
Okiki also noted that the competition was very
keen, Its all by giving thanks to God ALMIGHTY and for the talent for seeing
him through the lead.
