Governor Ambode and Dangote agree to make Lagos investor haven



Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode and the President of Dan­gote Group of Companies, Mr. Aliko Dangote, Just tipped Lagosians as one of the most lucrative investor havens on the African continent business industry.
Just duo to who spoke yester­day at the Lagos Secretariat House, In Ikeja, affirmed that when the various projects being done in Lagos are completed.
 The emerging Afri­can model mega city will be an attractive business platform that will command investors’ respect and attention across the world.
Mr. Ambode, shortly responding to Dangote’s address during his courtesy visit to his office, said his administration will put on a the wistle and also ready to support the Dangote Group where necessary towards en­suring his statement that investors have a comfortable life in business.
Alhaji Aliko Dangote, said ‘I will just call on other investors that wherever it is that we can assist, we will be willing and ready to make sure that investors have comfortable life and comfortable business profile in Lagos State.
Governor Ambode, who de­scribed the visit of Mr. Aliko as very signifi­cant, promised that his adminis­tration would open up and also keep working on the state for greater business just as it is very interesting in attracting for­eign investors through its cre­ation of an Office of Overseas Affairs and Investment.

Governor Ambode reveal the visit is highly signifi­cant. We said it that we are going to open up Lagos State for great­er business and we also said we are interested in bringing in for­eign investors foreign Affairs and Investment in it.
Ambode also thanked the Dangote Group President for donating the sum of N400 million through the Dangote Foundation to 2,000 women in each of the 20 local governments in the state towards assisting them improve their businesses all time.
Dangote said he and his team were at the Lagos House to con­gratulate Governor Ambode on his victory at the poll as well as his swearing in as the 14th Chief Executive Officer of the lagos state.
Mr, Aliko Dangote reveal the visit also afforded him the opportunity to assure the Governor of his com­mitment to finish ongoing proj­ects currently being embarked upon by his company as well as his continued support to initia­tives geared towards securing lives and properties in the state.
